I have a 17 year old that went to work for sonic restaurant they hired her. The manager made this minor
sign papers without reading them first. Give her a copy to take home and read. She worked one day and put in a weeks resignation like the papers said for her to do, if she decided to quit. One of those papers stated she would not be paid for training, this child din't know this until after she done signed the paper. Then she was fired when she turned in weeks notice. She was on the clock for that one day. What is her rights?

First, at 17, anything that she was to sign, in order to be binding, had to be signed by her parents or guardian. Secondly, if she worked a day, then she is to be paid for that day.
