problem with employer
A person came in the store where i work as a cashier. I accepted a check from the customer which was returned NSF, my employer is deducting the amount of the check from my pay. Is this legal? Shouldnt they seek payment through the DAs office?

Depends on whether you followed your boss's procedure for taking checks as payment. Talk to the labor board about what can be deducted from you paycheck.
