Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

I quit a company and I cannot determine how much is owed.

I quit a company and I cannot determine how much is owed. I worked for salary, about sixty hours a week for five hundred a week. I quit that job and have about eighteen hours that has yet to be paid. I am writing the employer to receive said money in accordance to the laws of the State of Louisiana. My only trouble is I cannot determine how much is owed due to the salary issue. Can anyone help me with this?

60 into $500 is $8 and some change an hour. That is how you figure it. I am curious as to why you were not paid overtime for 20 hours a week? Just because you are a salaried worker does not necessarily exempts your position from overtime.
