rights of the employee

what are the basic right of an employee.can he seekd to get a redress if his appointment is terminated abruptly, and no compesation is given to him i want to know who this case would be handle in louisiana.

Louisiana has employment "at will." Without more facts, I cannot tell you much, except you are owed compensation for your work, and any "earned" vacation and/or sick leave.
