Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana
My son is an at-will employee. He was on leave with back problems for a month. His doctor wants to release him with only light duty. The employer does not want to take him back unless he gets a full release. They have accommodated other employees by giving them light duty in the past, but are now refusing to accommodate my son. Does he have a recourse?

If his injury was while he was working for that employer, and during his work with them, then they should have been paying workers compensation. Since you never mentioned that, either he is drawing it, or you have not told this site all the details.
