Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana
I was terminated by my HR dept...I used unused soon to expire airline tickets for personal use...I worked in this field for over 16 yrs...Never knew of a policy against this...My office manager and several other employees in the office knew I was doing this.. no one ever told me this was wrong...Also they're wanting me to pay It back...But ever time I talk to this the amount is different....First it was 7000.00..I ask them to send me a itiemized invoice for all tickets...I received it it states Its over 13000.00 and things just don't balance out.....What should I do?
