Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Louisiana

If my apartment was broken into and I decide to move without a 30 notice because I feel unsafe, does the landlord has the right to deny paying me my deposit.

Unless you can prove there were many breakins and you notified the landlord you were afraid and he should employ more security. Otherwise, if the lease requires 30 days notice, you got to give him 30 days notice.......if you do it today, that is not too long.....however, he could still deny you the deposit because of the condition of the apartment....that is what often happens.
