Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Louisiana
My father owns land that tenant has a mobile home on it leasing the property. One of the tenants died and the family came and took everything of value out of the mobile home. They left the old mobile home and trash in it. What can be done about having them be reliable for moving or having the trailer torn down? The mobile home is in the tenants name.

You can sue them for the cost of disposing of the property. If it is less than $5,000, you can sue in small claims court at the local Justice of the Peace. You can do that without an attorney.
