Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Louisiana
I let a friend move in my apt and we had a writing agreement that she would take over my lease until it was over. I was evicted in july because she didnt pay the rent for june nor july so im stuck with bill that is almost a $1000 that i have to pay and she agreed to pay but will not return any of my phone calls nor emails or text messages.

You can sue your "friend" (doesn't sound like much of a friend to me) for the money, but you will owe the rent to the landlord.
