Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Louisiana

Good evening, My question has a small story behind it. I own a condo on the second floor in a complex. The owner of the condo beneath me has major leakage into her apartment coming from the ceiling. She automatically assumes it has to be coming from our home. There was a condo association who was responsible for pipes and roof damage but little did i know, this association has lost the insurance on the condo's and has not informed the owners. Thats another story. but what i need to know is if when i have a plumber come check out the pipes and if it does turn out that the leakage is coming from a pipe from our condo and i responsible? if so, am i also responsible for the damage that was done to her place? please help.....

The agreement between the owners and the associaion would need to be reviewed before an opinion can be given. If you are responsible for pipe and/or roof damage according to agreement, you may be responsible for damage caused to another under certain circumstances. You will need to allow an attorney to review all the necessary documents.
