Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Louisiana
My old landlord is suing me for breaking my lease early. However, I never signed the lease. I was offshore and the property company allowed my mom to sign my name. They wanted me to come in later and sign myself but I never did. Can he still hold me to that lease? If I fight it, can my mom get in trouble?

My opinion....and under stand this is my opinion only and not the law......if you told people you agreed to something and now are saying you did not say that, then get a lawyer.....because I believe that someone's word is worth more than the written word....
