Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Louisiana

I am under a lease for a rent house till the end of November. The owner has put the house up for sell. I have since found a house to buy. Am I going to lose my deposit if I move out now before the end of November.

The new owner can't hold you to the lease, as he was not a party to it. In fact, the new owner can make you move out unless your lease is recorded. If the landlord is selling the house, he probably would like to have you move out anyway, as a house with a tenant in it is much harder to sell. Talk to your landlord first. You may not have a problem that needs court intervention.
