Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Louisiana

i moved out of a house, the place was clean but,my kids wrote on the wall in the hall and in their bedroom,I had a hole in the bedroom door and dents in master bedroom wall. The landlord stated that she does not have any deposit to give me because she had to pay someone 1500.00 to paint the house and a lot of other things that was not my responsibility. Can I get any of my deposit back from her.
