nasty lady

my mother in law has been living in her mobile home on my property for two years. the onle condition was to keep the outside clean and tidy. it hasnt happened. i want her to move her trailer. how long do i have to give her?

You don't have to give her any time, unless she is paying you rent or has a lease. If she is paying you rent and does not have a written lease, you have to give her ten days' notice. If she has a written lease, the lease will specify the amount of time she has to be given.

If she will not leave and the police will not remove her (police love to call everything a "civil matter"), you may have to file an eviction with the local city court or justice of the peace court, depending on where you live.
