Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Louisiana
If two people decided to rent an apartment together and both of their names are on the lease but in the middle of the contract one of the parties decided to leave without paying out the rest of contract, what can i do to get the money back that i have contibuted so i would not get evicted.

The landlord is not bound by your agreement among yourselves to split the rent. The landlord can demand full rent from any of the tenants. However, you can demand that the other co-tenants honor their agreement to you (and the landlord) and pay their portion of the rent. You can sue for that and many people do.
