in the state of Louisiana is it legal to keep utilities in a deceased persons name or is it identiy theft?

You are not supposed to keep utilities in a dead person's name, but I don't think it rises to the level of identity theft.

I agree again with Mr. Lambert. As long as you pay the bill, there does not seem to be a problem. However, the owner is the only one supposed to have the ability to turn utilities on and off. So you are lying to the company. The real question is why?
