Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Louisiana
My wife and I had a verbal altercation that was not loud and in the course of this my wife pulled a butcher knife and stated she would use it. She was arrested and I am in the process of getting the charges dismissed. Only one of our neighbors knew anything about this but the rest most likely saw the sherriff cars were at our house. My question is can the landlord evict us for this one time thing after 12 years as a tenant. He did not see any of this nor did anyone else. He simply read it in the paper
