Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Louisiana

My daughter is plays on the Warren Easton High School Basketball team in New Orleans, La. They were recently stripped of all of their games making them ineligible for the playoffs due to a recruiting violation reported by another school. It is reported that the other schools that reported this violation knew about it but said nothing until after the season. This seemed to me to be unfair to this team that they let these girls play a whole season knowing that they were going to report a violation at the end of the season, and not report it when it was first discovered, costing these girls a whole season. It's like they played their hearts out for nothing to be punished at the end of the year. Is there any action I can take from a legal standpoint for the negligent behavior of the people involved and the stress that is placed on these girls by adults.

Investigations sometimes take considerable time. There is not an apparent remedy for this situation.
