Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Louisiana

Hearing loss

I wa in the hospital for 2 weeks, I wa septic and ended up on a vent in icu. When i woke my hearing was gone and the hospital/doctors have n idea why. I could hear perfectly before. Can something be done legally? They say they are not responsible!
