Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Louisiana
Ipl laser for spider veins in back of knees
I have rosacea and drmatologist suggested ipl laser treatments. When i came in to do it, the little girl doing it suggested i get the spider veins on my knees done, too. However, after 2 sittings, i asked her if there should be pressure on my knees from this? She said no, it must be something else. I quit the treatments. But now i constantly feel as if soemone is squeezing the backs of my knees. There is alot of pressure and seems to be getting worse. My knees never did this , ever, prior to ipl. Now it actually hurts some days and keeps me from running or crossing my legs. Now it seems like the bigger veins are somming to the surface now, the ones you can not get with ipl. Is this medical malpractice? Will i have future medical bills due to this? Will my legs ever get back to normal? Can you help me? I have no where to turn, i am poor and can not afford an attorney. What should i do?

The only way you can know if there is malpractice is for another doctor to say it is. You need to gather up all of your medical records from the doctor who did the work and find an attorney who will look at them. Before you do that though, you need to see another doctor and explain your circumstances and how you are feeling in case there is something that needs to be done to avoid damage to your legs.
