Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Louisiana

Staph infection

My husband got a staph infecton after knee replacement surgery. He had a partial replacement in 2005, full knee replacement in 06. Last week the full knee replacement had to be removed until the infection can be cleared, then another full knee replacement has to be put in. He will be out of work for at least 5 months. The doctors say it probably entered his body at the time of surgery. Do we have a medical malpractice lawsuit.

Re: Staph infection

Probably not since staph infection is one of the most prolific infections and happen in hospitals every day. To be sure, you will need to obtain all hospital records and then take them to someone specializing in malpractice cases in your jurisdictions.
