Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana

I was in a car accident and did not hire attorney. I settled yesterday and was wondering if i have to pay blue cross blue shield my insurance hmo that paid the discounted rate and I paid copays the full invoice amount or what the my insurance company paid, since i never filed suit?

Sorry, I am not sure I understand. That very long 2nd sentence without punctuation confused me a bit. However, I think you are asking if you have to re-pay blue cross more than they actually paid for the services you were rendered? Or are you asking if you have to pay the medical providers the full amount even though blue cross paid a discounted amount?

First of all, you must determine if you owe blue cross any repayment at all.....if so, you only owe them what they actually paid. If you were referring to the medical providers, then the answer is the same. If they have an agreement with the insurance company for a discounted rate, they cannot collect the difference from you.
