Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana

car wreck

I NEED TO RESPOND TO A CITATION FROM A CAR WRECK ON 8/19/2007. the car i was driving, had no ins, the ins expired a few days before, the car is not mine ,but i put the registration and liscense in my name, so i know i'm responsible.I have to respond whether or not i agree with the citation.I need to do this by tomorrow .I without making myself look anymore guilty than i am

Since it was filed so quickly, I suspect it was filed in small claims court or city court. Go to the clerk of that court and ask them for a form to answer the suit. If that is not the case, then simply answer the suit by denying each allegation "for lack of sufficient information to justify a belief therein."

You were responsible because you were driving. And if you can prove that the car was really owned by your son, then he could also be responsible. I Answered this earlier.
