child was jumped at the mall
my daughter and her friend were jumped in the mall,and they both got hurt.There was water on the floor and one of the girls fell. Can I hold the mall responsible for their injuries? and can I view the mall security tape from the incident

Slip and fall cases against merchants are hard to win, but not impossible. Basically, you must prove that the floor was dangerously slippery, that it had been like that for so long that the mall either knew or should have known about the danger, and that they did not properly remedy the problem. It is often hard to prove.
As for the fight, you may have a claim against the mall for that as well. If the mall provides security (most do), it must be adequate security. If mall security could or should have protected your daughter, but failed to do so, you may have a claim for her injuries in that respect.
You absolutely have a right to see the tapes. However, you may have to file suit to see them.
