Domestic battery

I need to know what to do if I was

arrested and the state/parish charged

me with domestic abuse/battery and

the ''victim'' does not want charges

pressed what can I do?

The victim can contact the investigating agency and the District Attorney to advise them that (s)he does not want you prosecuted.

I suggest that you consult with a criminal defense lawyer as soon as possible.
