Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana

If I fall in a hole in a hotel driveway, and the hotel, knowing I fell and spoke with their management...paves over the hole the next day, is that considered hiding evidence?

No. It is what we call a remedial measure and it can't be held against them. The law encourages defendants like the hotel to repair dangerous conditions like that. It doesn't change the fact that you fell, or that there was a hole there. It shouldn't matter to your claim one way or the other.

I agree with Lambert........are they denying you fell or that the hole was there? If you were "really" injured by stepping in the hole, hire an attorney.
