Horses get out and almost cause an accident

A car hit breaks to avoid hitting a horse that got out and wondered onto the hwy. As the homeowner, what is my responsibilty? Am I responsible for medical bills because she slamed on her breaks injured her back?

Probably. You should immediately notify your homeowner's insurance company--without delay-- so that they can protect your interests--they will put a team of investigators on your case to determine if, in the first p[lace, you are at fault, and then, if the other party bears any responsibility for this accident as well as, whether the other party really suffered any injuries or damage in this accident and, as an overall matter, they will determine whether the claim is legit. Again, call your insurance company today--do not delay.
