Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana
I was making a lane change (with my blinker on and I checked my blind spots) when a car pulled up beside me in my blind spot (speeding) and honked. I pulled back into my lane and his car scratched the curb. I thought I hit him so I pulled over to make sure he was ok. His tire was scratch along with his rim and he said I would have to pay for it even though we didn't collide. Is that true?

Turn it over to your insurance company and don't worry about it anymore.
