Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana

I got in a motor vehicle accident where i attempted to avoid an accident and still hit the other vehicle and i was charged with careless operation. If i go to court and fight it will i be able to get the citation droped?

You should hire a lawyer. There is no way anyone can tell you ahead of time whether that charge would be dropped. There is no reason why the state would do so unless you had a good legal argument for it. And, you can't make a good legal argument for it until the attorney sees the state's file.
