if a parent files a lawsuit on behalf of a minor, once the minor turns 18 is the parent entile to the money?

The minor, now major, is the owner of suit. Parent filed " on behalf" .

The parent was NEVER entitled to the child's money, even if the suit was settled by a billion dollars and the child was only 7 years old. It is the child's money! Now if the parent has their own claim for loss of love and affection or something like that, then that is their money. But if the child was injured and the ONLY REASON THE PARENT SUED FOR THEM WAS THEIR AGE, then daddy and mommy are out of luck!!! No matter how old the child is at settlement.
