Slipped in Water in Restaurant

I slipped and fell in a puddle of water at a restaurant in Louisiana over the weekend. I am making an appointment with a doctor for some knee pain I am experiencing. Is the restaurant liable even if nothing serious shows up? If they are liable, for what?

The restaurant may be liable for your injuries, your pain and suffering, and any earning you lose because of the injury.
