Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana

my son was bitten by a dog. As a result he got an infection that took three weeks to clear up. His arm was also fractured as a result. The dog belong to my neighbor. It has been over a month since this all began and I have missed work he has miss school and we are still under doctor care. Who is responsible for this mess. My neighbor is a renter. Would the landlord home owners insurance cover the medical bills?

Probably not, but it would depend on the lease and how much control they had over the premises and inhabitants. You can sue the animal's owner. You can look into having the animal declared a dangerous dog.
