wrongfull death suit
I have custody of my son for the last 18 years. he was killed. who would get the money in wrongfull death suit the person that gave him birth or the one that raised him and had custody and paid for his burial and other things.

I am sorry for your loss. If your son had no children of his own, both of his natural parents would inherit from his estate equally (50-50). That is for a survivor action. The parent who actually cared for him all those years may have a stronger claim for wrongful death against a third party tortfeasor.
