Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

I own 10 acres in DeSoto Parish Louisiana (haynesville shale) and my current lease expired in November of 2010. However, the company did drill a gas well but haven't completed the well to date. The well TD (total depth) in August and now waiting on completion. Am I correct that in a standard lease, a company is given 90 days to complete operations after primary lease term is over and then lease expires? If in fact this is true, would I then have to hire an attorney negotiate another lease?

You should take your lease to an Attorney and discuss it in person. To many variables exist for someone here to take a guess at the answer.
