Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

I am 70, female, married 35 years. I have 2 sons previous marriage. I worked from beginning of marriage until I was 69. Husband put all his money in IRA, 401 and CDs. He lists me as beneficiary. However, he is not fond of my sons. I feel that my sons should inherit my share of these monies that I helped saved. We are in Louisiana, a community property state. My health is poor and it is likely i will go before my husband. I don't think it fair that some other woman should enjoy what I had to do without (he already has a new person in mind--on the back burner). Can my sons inherit 1/2 of these monies that I helped earn?

Write a will giving them your share of whatever property you want. When you die, whatever property you leave to them will go to them.
