Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana
Can someone block access from you getting to your property? The situation is i have farm land and the road and land that leads to my property was sold. Could the new owners stop me from using the road to get to my land if it is not a public road?

If you have been using an access road, more than likely there is an easement of use. If they attempt to prevent you from continuing to access your property via this road, you may have to file suit to declare an easement of use.
