Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

bought a mobile home, have bill of sale. I did not get title at the time of purchase (family member was seller) now i want to sell but seller now says he owes money on the trailer! What is my recourse? I paid in full and have all my checks to prove this.

You can sue the seller for your monies back.
