car warranty
Who has to honor the warranty if a car company goes bankrupt or out of business. Is it the dealer where vehicle was purchased or me the vehicle owner.

Re: car warranty
It depends on what the warranty document says. If it is a new car warranty, the manufacturer usually is responsible. Sometimes extended warranties are purchased from a warranty company. It is rare, but occasionally a dealer will write the warranty. So, read your warranty and it will tell you who ultimately must stand behind it.
