Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

Cox Communication, a private cable company, is running an under ground cable through my back yard. I was told nothing about this. Is it legal for a private cable company to do such a thing?

If they have a right of way or servitude, yes. Look at your Act of Sale and see if there is a utility servitude in that area.
