My ex-husband and I purchased a suv when married. I have the vehicle and have been paying the notesince December 2007. How can I get his name off the vehicle's paperwork and the bank?

The Court can award you the vehicle in the community property settlement, which will make the car yours. However, you can't bind the lender with that. If you can't refinance, the lender can't be compelled to remove him from the loan. If you default, they will want another person to sue.
