Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

My family has about 200 acres of land in Haynesville, Louisiana that was left to us by our gg-grandfather. We all have the same amount of shares. Their are still alot of us left. My uncle died about 1 week ago and his wife is claiming that all of this is hers. They have been married for 3 years. What legal rights does she have? What is the Louisiana law on this?

Successions should have been opened beginning with your gggrandfather, and then for each subsequent heir as they died. If not, then it should be done NOW. A wife has NO claim except for community property and if there is a will. Without more information no one can say what rights she has, since her husband may have purchased the property. With the way minerals are being paid for, you need to hire an attorney to get this straight.
