Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

Foreclosure property sold at sherrif sale

A piece of land was sold at a sherrif sale, the description of the land sold was not what the company holding the mortgage thought it was as the person who had made the mortagage owned more than one piece of property.

Is the sale legal or can it be reversed.

Re: Foreclosure property sold at sherrif sale

More information is needed. If the property was properly seized and advertised to be sold, then it is PROBABLY legal and binding. But without more information, that is as good a vague answer as I can give.
