Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

My Grandmother died 4 years ago..now she had three kids, one of the kids are dead, my grandmother has a house with a morgage still under her name , with has been paid by myself and my mother who is one of the kids of my grandmother..we want to change the name on the house to only my mom, and then pay out the house...How do we do this ?

The rightful heirs of the estate are all of the children of your grandmother, or their children if they are deceased. Paying the mortgage doesn't change that. The other heirs still own their portion. However, your mother can demand reimbursement for the payments she paid, as can you.

You need to speak to an attorney that handles probate and estates in your area. You have to open the estate, but you obviously have a lot of issues to work out. You can't iron this out via email. You need an appointment with an attorney.
