Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana
Home Owners Associations
We have a small pet sitting business in our home. We were told that the owners association is not going to alow our business to continue. This business makes no impact on trafic or visual impact. How can we fight an archaic law that doesnt apply to us.

If it is an incorporated association, then the rules and conditions are written down. As is the procedure to change the rules and conditions. You need to pull the Association documents and see what it says. When you bought the house, you agreed to the conditions.
