Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

My husband and Mother did an act of donation on our house about three years ago. My husband said she wanted it in his name only but he wanted it in my name also. Well I found out that he lied to me. I signed something that I thought was putting the house in both of our names but the homestead exemption is in his name only. We have been married 16 years. Do I have any rights to our home. Can he put me out like he threatens.

His mother had the right to donate to him alone. You may be entitled to being compensated for any improvements you or the community contributed.
