Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana
My husband and I wanted a pool for the children. We contacted Blue World Pools and they quoted us 8900.00 price for pool. That was afforadable to us. We signed papers. No money was exchanged no pool was set up.
We had three days to cancel. We asked about the interest rate and was not told until three weeks later. The interest rate is 30%. The payments is 248.00 a month for 144 months. The pool is costing more than our house when we moved in($32,000.)
We're trying to cancel now and they threatened us with a lien against our house. I need to know what are my legal rights in this matter and who do we need to talk to.

If no pool has been put in, it can still be canceled.
