Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

Is there anyway to get out of my lease? My roommate has made living in the apartment together unbearable. I moved all my stuff out today, but is there anyway to legally get out of the lease and not have to pay rent for the remainer of the lease?

Not really, unless the landlord lets you out of the lease. You should talk to your landlord and see if you can work something out with him. No matter what deals you make with your former roommate, the landlord will not be bound by them and he can still sue you for any breach of the lease.
