If you own the house together with your mom, and she doesn't make a will stating otherwise, when she dies your brothers will have a right to inherit (together with you) her half of the house. You can avoid this if she makes a will that explicitly leaves the house to you if something happens to her. Or, since you are paying for the house, just put it solely in your name and let her live in it during her life. Then your brothers won't have any right to the house after she dies.
