Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

I have a question? My mom and dad are both deceased and I need to know how can I go about trying to get their house cause it is about to go into foreclouser. If I do have rights to the house and my sister is not letting me know can I sue my sister.

If your parents owned the house, why wasn't it divided when their successions were opened? If you are their child, and there was no will or a deed giving it to your sister, then you may have an interest. But you need to take your case to an attorney so you do not do something stupid and agree to be liable for your parents' debts or those of your sister. And, you can always go to the sheriff's sale and bid on the house if it is foreclosed and sold for the debts.
