Quit Claim Deeds in Louisianna

My parents bought a time share in New Orleans. I purchased the time share from them but the paperwork has not been changed. My father died last year and my mother is now wants to get things cleaned up. Does the Parish of Orleans recognize Quit Claim Deeds?
